thousands of people regularly go to concerts at the thomas and mack.
the democrats come to town and want to impress us with how they will organize the country, and we wait for two hours in 115 degree heat while they're trying to organize how to get us into our seats efficiently. we are not impressed. when we finally get to the metal (meddle) detectors, they just waived us through, didn't even examine the shit in our hands we had to pull out of our pockets.

all in all i was more impressed when arnold schwartzeneggar came to my work last week and made his entrance through the smoking glass box, and walked down the catwalk like he was a goddamn model before he started talking.

the rally was disappointing for many more important reasons. i had really hoped to come away knowing who i'd vote for, and realizing its all more of the same bullshit.

it's time to declare myself a libertarian, i think.
