viva la mexico!

the hills of ensenada
this was taken last week during my
"drive until i find the sunshine" campaign.

it's strange, as soon as you cross the border
the folks with the best views
are actually living in extreme poverty.

it was breathtaking And heartbreaking
or why don't i just go ahead and invent a new word here:
"heart-taking"

--------------
p.s. annette-
the jeopardy categories i would kick butt in are:

sushi-rain-conspiracy theories
songs you can play on the guitar that involve only two chords
thriftstore fashions-famous women with avoidant personalities
and
words that rhyme with "orange"

Comments:
Well, obviously the answer to the last category is always going to be door-hinge. Orange. Door-hinge. Say it several times FAST and you'll hear it.
PS I love Mexican markets.
PPS A few years ago I went on a road trip that was alllll about finding dinosaurs. I ended up in three states in 2 days and have plenty of dino-pics to prove my success.

My god! i love this photograph!

Erica:

You are one of the few people I can think of who can go on a road trip through Mexico in a black coctail dress and pull it off.

As far as the roles I'll have in the
SLAC play - don't know yet. They haven't sent me a script. In fact, I'm not sure they have complete scripts from the playwrights yet. Scary and kinda intriguing at the same time.
