I have a lot of pics of me as a kid sitting in a little blue rocking chair. my mom had painted it blue. she also had painted my name on the top rung. so began the life-long love affair with my name.

I slept with a teddy bear named Amy Cahill for the first eight years of my life. she had glass eyes. my paranoia started early. i thought her eyes had cameras installed in them.

I guess in the end though, my favorite toy had to be my baby brother. He was a gift that just kept getting better.

My worst subject in grade school was PE, specifically hockey. I did okay in gymnastics and track, but when you put a stick in my hand I always ended up in the penalty box for swinging it too high.
I later on made a decent golfer.

I liked all the wussy sports like badmitton. or maybe i just liked saying "shuttle cock." I liked baseball to. I used to collect baseball cards. half because i rejected myself as a girl, and half because it was fun to imagine the players naked in all those funny poses.

if only erica had known her life wasn't complete without a bananna guard, she would have asked for one earlier!
